Do you ever find yourself desperate for God's wisdom? Lately my hunger has seemingly become something unsatisfied, like I can't quite grasp contentment. I think what's rather reassuring is the story of Solomon...the wisest man that ever lived, and to think he never requested said knowledge initially.
At this point in time I'm frustrated. Seeking godly insight, hoping to obtain a higher wisdom, these are the things I need yet it's not the easiest to come by. With learning comes knowledge, I get that. It's all just one huge work in progress. Seriously though, thank God we're not expected to have it all together right away. Before I started posting this entry, I was reading Scripture and found immense comfort in the book of James: verses 1:5 and 3:17 brought me to tears.
It's so good, I'll type it out.
James 1:5
"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
James 3:17
"But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy."
The greatest wisdom, freely given.
Wow.

I love the book of James.
That is some legit verse-age right there.
Just be consistently in prayer and I think it will all come together for u after all is said and done.
